Treat yourself to an afternoon of goodies at the Ninth Annual McLean Chocolate Festival on Jan. 26. The event, designed to entertain the community during the dog days of winter, raises funds for local and international charities.

Attendees will be able to purchase chocolate, cookies, cupcakes, ice cream, and other treats from vendors such as Dave’s Candy Kitchen, River-Sea Chocolates, and the Dough Jar. It’s the perfect spot to stock for Valentine’s Day and get some unique treats while supporting local businesses. The festival also features a colonial chocolate-making demonstration and children’s activities run by the McLean High Interact Club. Gift cards from local businesses will also be on sale at reduced rates, and there will be free entertainment throughout the day from groups like Trillium Trio and the Sunshine Gang.

Admission is only $2 and the event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the McLean Community Center.
